At a glanceThe essentials
Details you submit, account information, assessment activity and standard technical logs.
To respond, operate your workspace, calculate results and keep the service working safely.
Optional analytics waits for consent, and applicable data requests can be made through Contact.
When you submit a demo or contact form, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, work email, phone number, company and message. When you use an assessment, we store selected answers, progress, calculated results and a one-way hash of your private resume token. Customer accounts store a name, normalized email, hashed password, verification time and owned assessment history. Standard server logs may contain technical request information.
Lead information is used to respond to the request you submitted. Assessment answers are used only to save progress, calculate scores and provide recommendations unless you separately choose to contact Kataboom. First-party campaign labels may be retained with a submitted request to understand how the journey began; they do not create marketing permission. Optional website analytics remains disabled until accepted.
Incomplete guest assessments expire after 30 days and completed guest reports after 90 days under the default deployment settings. An automated daily task deletes expired guest sessions, answers and result snapshots. Assessments claimed by an account remain available until the customer deletes the account or an applicable retention request is processed. Account Settings permanently deletes the account and its saved assessments. Lead retention must be set by the production owner according to applicable requirements.
Information is shared only with service providers or team members needed to handle your request, subject to appropriate safeguards. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
