Guide overview

Follow the workflow in a controlled order.

Important boundary. Onboarding creates the company context. It does not silently activate payment providers, social accounts or operational products. Each connection keeps its own approval and permission process.

Guided steps

From preparation to a checked outcome.

01

Choose how you currently sell

Kataboom uses your starting point to make the rest of setup more relevant.

What to do
  • Choose Instagram, WhatsApp, a physical shop, a website, a marketplace, a spreadsheet or Start Fresh.
  • Select the option that best represents the business today. You can add more channels after setup.

Expected outcomeYour starting sales route is saved and the business details stage opens.

02

Add the company information

Create the trusted identity that can be reused across Kataboom products.

What to do
  • Confirm the company name and primary industry.
  • Add the business phone, email and full address.
  • Add the registration number, description, website and logo when available.
  • Check that public facing details are suitable for future listings and receipts.

Expected outcomeKataboom creates the core business profile and primary location context.

03

Describe how the business operates

Industry alone does not explain every operational need.

What to do
  • Choose the business model that best fits how you trade.
  • Add secondary industries only when they materially affect operations.
  • Review the recommended capabilities and keep only the ones the business actually needs.

Expected outcomeYour product and catalogue requirements have a confirmed business context.

04

Confirm the primary contact

Important company notices need a named and accountable recipient.

What to do
  • Add the full name, company role, email address and phone number.
  • Choose the preferred language.
  • Confirm that the email belongs to the person responsible for company notifications.

Expected outcomeThe primary contact is ready to receive account and company notices.

05

Select your selling channels

This records the channels you intend to connect or set up next.

What to do
  • Choose the relevant options, including Instagram, WhatsApp, Storefront, Yellow Pages, spreadsheet, API or physical shop.
  • Treat this as a setup preference, not proof that a provider is already connected.
  • Skip this stage if you need to confirm the channels later.

Expected outcomeYour workspace has a clear list of intended sales channels.

06

Review and create the company

A final review prevents incorrect details from reaching connected products.

What to do
  • Review company information, business operations, contact details and selected channels.
  • Use the Edit links to correct anything that is incomplete.
  • Read and accept the terms and privacy notice, then create the company.

Expected outcomeThe company workspace is created and the next setup actions become available.

Completion checklist

Confirm before moving on.

Use this list for a final review with the person responsible for the workflow.

  • Company identity and contact details are accurate
  • The primary industry and business model reflect real operations
  • Only useful capabilities have been selected
  • The primary contact can receive company notices
  • Selected channels are understood as the next setup choices
  • The final review is complete before accepting the terms
